Heyyy now! Your engaged!!!! Whether it was the "old faithful" getting down on one knee, or snuck into your fancy dinner entree or some other way special to you, you've got your ring honey.
Now how do we tell all of our eagerly waiting loved ones?!
Have no fear ladies Mama has a few tricks up my sleeve (Rubs hands like Birdman).
First up is the holiday engagement. Yay! Now several people can fall under this category. Your sweetheart could have proposed any where from Thanksgiving to New Years. The engagement announcements for this season are pretty easy. There are so many themes to choose from that a cute announcement can be as easy as the two you in Pilgrims hats, a cornucopia full of holiday fare and the ring falling out, Christmas tree ornaments with the date or "Just Engaged" on it and even the cute New Years hats with your ring right beside it. The options are endless for the holiday season so milk the themes of your season.
Before I go any further this is about announcing your initial engagement, not about Saving the date or anything like that. Many couples choose to just have an engagement photo shoot and use those picture to announce their engagement as well as send out Save the Dates. Some couples just throw it on Facebook and call it a day or they just send out a mass text message with a picture of their new bling on their lefty. BORING. Call me what you want but any excuse to be extravagant or creative or just surprise people *raises hand* I will take it. Plus if I just put something like that on Facebook I know for a fact his family and mine would hunt us down. So good thing I have other options.
Now I am all down for sending out a picture but if it was me Honey know it will be planned. I love selfies, I mean who doesn't now a days and if you want to combine your love of selfies with a cool announcement perfection is the photo that follows. This is something that you could send out in a message *after the immediate family has been notified* as a cute memorable thing for them to share. Pardon me if I'm over the pictures of your future spouse actually proposing. Don't get me wrong I would love to watch the video of it or even see picture and hear a story about it but that picture as the first "TADA" no thanks. I feel like I need a story to go along with it. I'm talking blow my blow details or else I don't get the full effect.

Obviously whenever I am so lucky as to become engaged I just knew that this would be how I would announce it. Well as my luck would have it, whenever I have an idea that would take some time to become a reality someone always... I mean ALWAYS beats me to the punch. Now clearly I found this so its not my original idea but what are the odds that someone I follow on Facebook, went to high school with and use to hang out with would beat me. If it was a stranger stranger then hey that's just a coincidence but Jeez this one was just weird. Congratulations to her though if she happens to read this lol I knew back in high school that you and your new fiance were meant to be. And hey depending on when my time comes I may have to be a bit of a copy cat. AHAHA but as much as I look at all things wedding related I probably will be in love with another idea by then. But copycatting is still not out of the question yet.
